On Criticism

Criticizing is easy – it’s coming up with a solution that is the hard task. Especially because any solution one comes up with will inevitably be subjected to criticism – and of course, those who criticize a solution seem to rarely offer another solid or logical solution in its place.

Let me be clear, I am not saying that criticism is bad (in fact is a necessity). I am simply saying that many people criticize but never offer any solutions of their own. I have much more respect for the worlds worst artist than for the mankind’s greatest critic – because at least the artist is attempting to create something.
